Andre Solomon Granted Bail in Antigua on Multiple Cannabis Charges
Andre Solomon, a 44-year-old Trinidadian national residing in Antigua, has been granted bail after facing several drug-related charges in court.
Solomon was released on EC$50,000 bail, including a EC$5,000 cash deposit and two sureties. He must report to the St John’s Police Station on Mondays and Saturdays, and to the Immigration Department on Wednesdays.
The charges follow police searches at properties in Pares and Parham on April 30, which uncovered nearly 2½ pounds of cannabis and 790 cannabis plants. A second search in Hodges Bay on May 7 yielded an additional 4½ pounds.
Police say Solomon is also a person of interest in other ongoing investigations.
